Lewis stays busy with job, family

by Mike Petra Kathy Lewis is a relatively new face around Southeast Community College, being employed here only six months. She is a native of Illinois, although she has lived in Kentucky since she was eight years old. Kathy currently lives at Nolansburg with her husband and two children, Ashley, 14, and Brandon, 17. She enjoys spending time with her family and watching romantic movies or reading Danielle Steele novels. Since arriving at SECC, she has been involved in various activities, but her job is admissions assistant. She is also in charge of all the nursing files. She attended SECC and plans on attending Lincoln Memorial University to complete her degree in business. Kathy feels that since she is a non-traditional student herself that she has a lot in common with many students here. She is currently working on trying to get a concert band started on campus. As of now, the plans are still in the works, but she is hopeful that it will be a reality in the not- so-distant future.
