Junior Seminar in Historical Methods and Literature
Topic - Southern Conservatism
This course is an introduction to research and writing in the field of history with attention given to the problems of historical thought and interpretation. Preferably to be taken during the first semester of the junior year, it is required of all history majors. This particular section will focus on historical issues regarding Southern conservatism, and students will complete a research project using a variety of primary sources. We meet from 1:00 to 2:50 p.m. on Mondays in Patterson Office Tower, Seminar Room 108.
