INDIVIDUAL REACTION/RESEARCH PAPER

Purpose:  To present your assessment and understanding of the impact of
          technology on communication in organizational environments.

Question: WHAT IS THE IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGY ON COMMUNICATION IN
          ORGANIZATIONS ?       

Requirements:
     The paper should be about 8-10 pages in length.  Using the course content
     and other outside resources, present your reaction to the impact of
     technology on communication in organizations.  The paper should include
     but not be limited to:

     1.   a discussion of technology (what is it?). 

     2.   emphasis should be given to the relationship between technology
          and the communication topics covered throughout the text
          (i.e., interpersonal, leadership, small group, conflict, design,
          diversity, ethics)

     3.   an in-depth discussion examining the future implications and
          impact of technology (positive and/or negative)
          on communication in organizations.

Your paper will be graded on how well you analyze and present the impact
of technology in relation to communication within an organization.
Papers must be thorough, well-organized, and demonstrate solid
mechanics.  All papers must be typed.

"A" Paper
-critical and insightful analysis of topic
-use of exceptional grammar and no spelling errors

"B" Paper
-insightful analysis
-solid organization
-proper grammar with few errors

"C" Paper
-length requirements met
-appropriate topics applied to analysis
-some grammatical errors

"D" Paper
-paper fails to meet one or more of the requirements for a "C"
-excessive grammatical and/or spelling errors

"F" Paper
-paper does not follow assignment
-paper is plagiarized or is unoriginal work
