One of the most common requests I hear is for assistance in using the web to locate information on a particular subject. Helping those folks out is easy -- mostly, it's just a matter of making people aware of the variety of resources available to them. Still, it can be rather daunting task to track down all those resources. This page is meant to serve faculty and students (and anyone else) as an easily accessible and convenient central location for performing various kinds of searches on the web. The links below include a variety of information sources, from commercial search engines to the online catalog of the University of Kentucky Library System. Please e-mail me with your suggestions for additions to this page, or if you find a link that has died.
