PSY 395

Each semester, up to 5 undergraduate students are admitted into the laboratory to assist in ongoing research.  Students are required to attend a weekly laboratory meeting with other personnel to discuss the upcoming tasks and current projects.  Recent, empirically-based journal articles are sometimes distributed and discussed.

For 3 credit hours, each student is required to participate in 9 hours of laboratory work.  In general, each undergraduate student is assigned to a primary graduate student or postdoctoral scholar, who serves as their immediate supervisor on a given project.

Grades are assigned in consultation with the graduate students and postdocs based upon overall performance in the laboratory, as well as performance in giving an oral presentation in the laboratory meeting at the end of the semester.
