I am an Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Department at University of Kentucky.

I received my PhD in philosophy from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in August of 2009.
In 2009-2010 I was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Department at Oberlin College.

I'm interested in Metaphysics, Ontology, and related areas of Philosophy of Language.
In particular, I puzzle over issues of constitution, composition, co-location, change and modality.
