I have designed costumes for Florida Stage in Manalapan, FL, The Johnny Appleseed Heritage Center in Ohio, The Strand Theatre in Galveston, TX, the Mary Moody Northen Amphitheatre in Galveston, TX, Ash Lawn Opera Festival in Virginia, the Mac-Haydn Theatre in upstate New York, the Chocolate Bayou Theater in Houston, East Carolina Summer Theatre in Greenville, NC, Opera Theatre of Central Kentucky, Pizazz Productions in Los Angeles, as well as summer theatre programs at the University of Iowa and the University of Kentucky.
My MFA in Costume Design is from the University of Iowa. In addition, I spent two years working for the MGM Grand Hotels in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada as a wardrobe supervisor and technician as well as the Alley Theatre in Houston, TX. At present, I teach costume design at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. Before coming to UK in 1996, I taught for four years at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC where I was the resident Costume Designer for the East Carolina Playhouse. I am a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829, the United States Institute of Theatre Technology, the Costume Society of America and the Southeastern Theatre Conference.
