*Krambambuli: a fairly strong liquor. It may have started out as a form of schnaps, but toward the end of the 19th century it had turned sweet and is said to belong to the family of "Feuerzangenbowlen" (red wine sweetend by sugar which is caramelized by pouring rum or cognac over a sugar cone resting on some tongs above the wine and lighting it.
