In 1959 the University of Kentucky established an elite school for the citizens who will be engaged in shaping the destinies of the world. Its purpose was to teach the lost art of diplomacy and to insure that the handful of men who graduated were the best scholars and scientists in the world. They succeeded. Today, the University calls it the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce. The students call it: TOP GUN.
