  • The first African-American to receive a Ph.D. in chemistry (from University of Illinois in 1916), St. Elmo Brady, was from Louisville!

Notes will be posted in PDF format after each set of lectures. Remember, these are my raw notes, so their accuracy and completeness is not guaranteed.

Exams & Study Guides

If you use a University computer, you will take the exams in CN-625. If you are using your own laptop, you will take the exam in HG-611 or CN-625, except for the final, which you will take in JSB-321 or CN-625. Makeup exams are generally in Jacobs Science Building.

We will use ACE Organic to administer the exams. I will assign you a username and password when you arrive for each exam.
