The Annotated Bibliography

Definition 
 
   The annotated bibliography is an important research tool which compiles the major texts written on a particular subject and  provides a brief analytical summary of each entry.  The annotated bibliography is designed to allow its readers to decide quickly and accurately whether any particular text will prove useful to their own work.
 
    The annotated bibliography has three main components:
