31st ANNUAL PEST CONTROL SHORT COURSE

SEPTEMBER 25-27, 2001

2001

"2001: A Pest Odyssey"

Sponsored By:
Department of Entomology, College of Agriculture, University of Kentucky

In Cooperation with:
The Kentucky Pest Control Association and The Kentucky Department of Agriculture

Odys·sey (n. Old English) 1. an extended wandering or journey. 2. ancient Greek poem about the wanderings of Odysseus after the fall of Troy.

At times, it seems that we in pest control are on or own modern-day Odyssey - having come so far, but with a future that is anything but certain. Customers expect so much from us today, and there are so many technical and business challenges that can potentially blow us off course. The only way to keep your "vessel" headed in the right direction is to stay current. Let the The 2001 University of Kentucky Pest Control Short Course be your compass. Short Course

This year's conference is packed with useful topics for owners, managers, and technicians alike - two, half-day workshops on emerging trends in termite and pest control; servicing accounts without using pesticides; the liability threat from public health pests; ant control tips that work; the art of using sticky traps - even a talk on the "psychology" of a termite! Dozens of practical topics and the best speakers in the industry. Look over the program and we think you'll agree. In fact, if you attend and are not satisfied with the learning experience, we'll refund your registration fee.

Join us in Lexington on September 25-27 for the 2001 Pest Control Short Course - and take some of the uncertainty out of your "Pest Odyssey".
