Accommodated Test Proctoring Services Instructions for Students - COVID 19

New Fall 2020 Accommodated Exam Process - UK Disability Resource Center

As campus adjusts to new processes, so does the University of Kentucky’s Disability Resource Testing Center. Please read this page completely so that you are aware of the procedural changes.

1. The new processes for the DRC Accommodated Testing Service are fluid and we will share changes and updates as they develop.

2. Discuss with each of your instructors your accommodations and how they can be met. Each student needs to inform their instructors of the accommodations they are requesting for their course’s exams/quizzes. If your instructor has a question about how to meet any of your accommodations they are welcome to contact the DRC office.

3. Each student should first discuss and try to meet your exam accommodations with your instructors before your instructor submits a request to the DRC for scheduling.

The DRC Accommodated Testing Center will remain open, but capacity of the testing center will be limited due to social distancing. As a result, exams may not occur concurrently with the time of the exam for class. Scheduling of exams is at the discretion of DRC staff, based on the availability of appropriate space. The DRC will continue with procedures established for online exams during the Spring 2020 semester.
