KGS Annual Seminar 2012: The Nexus for Geologists in Kentucky. May 18, 2012

KGS Director Dr. Jim Cobb opened the annual seminar with a discussion of the geologic societies in Kentucky. Geologic Mapping Section Head William Andrews led a session on the ASBOG test for geologists. Junfeng Zhu, of the Water Resources Section, tells listeners about his poster on groundwater contamination.

Doug Curl describes the latest developments in KGS online geologic mapping. Some of the seminar participants went to the Kentucky Horse Park to view the KGS research work on the Cane Run Watershed.
