New KGS GeoMobile Web-based app identifies geologic features on smart phones and tablets.

Users of smart phones and tablets which have available GPS and data access can see maps and other information on their location in Kentucky by going to this page online:
https://kgs.uky.edu/kgsmap/mobile/kgsgeoserver/.

Geologic formations, oil and gas fields and wells, mapped sinkhole outlines, and other geologic information are available on the KGS GeoMobile service.
