For Calendar Time activity

The following graphic images of annual calendars may be helpful for demonstrating geologic time in the classroom. All are variations on a theme, depending on what terms you want to use in the classroom or time you want to concentrate on. Using a combination of one of the calendar year graphics and then following with the December detail can reinforce the vast amount of time it took for life on the planet to get going, as well as how brief our own human history has been relative to the rest of geologic time.
