Magnitude 3.8 Greentown, Indiana.  December 30, 2010

A minor earthquake occurred Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 07:55:21 EST (12:55:21 UTC) near Greentown, Indiana.   The magnitude 3.8 earthquake occurred 4.9 kilometers (3.0 miles) underground.

The earthquake was recorded by the Kentucky Seismic and Strong-Motion Network, operated jointly by the Kentucky Geological Survey and the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Kentucky.
