The Kentucky Geological Survey (KGS) at the University of Kentucky will host an annual open house in celebration of national Earth Science Week. The KGS event will take place on October 16 from 6 - 7:30 pm and will feature exhibits and activities about earth science. The event is designed to be fun for all ages.

Interactive exhibits and displays will be arranged both inside and outside the Mining and Mineral Resources Building to showcase and explain a variety of earth science concepts. All are invited and the event is free and open to the public. On this special occasion, parking around the Mining and Minerals Resource Building is free.
