Bibliography of Karst Geology in Kentucky

A comprehensive bibliography of karst-related literature for Kentucky through 1977 was published by KGS in 1978. Because of the extensive publication on this topic since then, an update was needed. The new bibliography covers the last 20 years; over 800 new references have already been documented through 1997. A computerized bibliographic database of the relevant karst literature has been established. Before a report can be completed, the database requires review, to ensure that the majority of important references have been cited. Having this literature easily accessible will make evaluations of water resources and pollution problems in the karst regions of Kentucky much faster and more comprehensive. This work is done on an as-time-permits basis and is funded by KGS.
