LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 1, 2005) -- University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center will present the Sue Fosson Spring Humanities Festival at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 7, in the Singletary Center for the Arts Recital Hall.

Many faculty, residents, students and staff have interests in the humanities. Twice a year, a festival is organized to highlight their talents. The program will include music solos, ensembles, dance, displays of art work and photography, and original poetry. Admission is free.

Inspired by Sue Fosson, former assistant dean of Student Affairs for the UK College of Medicine, the Humanities Festival bridges the various fields of work and study found in health care. It provides the performers with an outlet for their creativity and the audience an entertainment experience.

Contact Carlene Hodges, Office of Student Affairs, at (859) 323-5261 ext. 249, for further information.
