The complexity of health care systems today demands an increased focus on improving outcomes with knowledge of evidence-based nursing interventions. A BSN-prepared nurse is innovative in health care delivery with knowledge in interprofessional practice, leadership and bedside expertise.
IMPORTANT: This rigorous program allows students to complete all didactic course work fully online, but requires in-person clinicals and labs on the University of Kentucky campus.
Admission Requirements Include:
One year of general college chemistry with a minimum grade of "C" in each course is also acceptable, in place of CHE 103. Additionally, one 3 credit hour course in microbiology is a prerequisite to pathopharmacology, taken in first semester, so that must be completed by the time of enrollment, if admitted.
