Business Administration - PhD For 95 years, Gatton College has been graduating high achieving, ambitious individuals with PhD degrees in Business Administration and in Economics. Today our graduates can be found at universities, government agencies, and business enterprises in over 20 states and in several countries worldwide.

PhD Program

The mission of our doctoral programs in the Gatton College of Business and Economics is to prepare students for successful careers in higher education, at government institutes, “think-tanks”, business corporations and financial institutions. To accomplish this mission, the program prepares graduates to comprehend and evaluate research, to perform research that advances knowledge, and to provide effective instruction, all within a business-related discipline and in a supportive collegial environment.

The PhD in Business Administration in the Gatton College of Business and Economics is available in the following concentrations: Accounting, Finance & Quantitative Methods, Management, Marketing & Supply Chain. When applying for the PhD, please indicate your concentration of interest.

NOTE:  Gatton College does not accept PhD applications nor admit students for the Spring Term.  All of our PhD Programs begin with the Fall Term.
