In addition to fundamental HR courses, students areĀ introduced to HR-based analytics, organizational network analytics, and strategic HR. Our Master's program includes an experiential capstone course which will give students the opportunity to apply principles and techniques fromĀ their coursework to address and solve actual organizational problems.

Graduates of our Strategic Human Resource Management and Analytics (SHRMA) Master of Science will have career opportunities as HR Specialist, HR Manager, HR Analyst, HR Consultant, and HR Coordinator.

Admission and Application Requirements

IMPORTANT NOTE: Application to our program consist of two components: an application to the Graduate School and an Application Supplement
(1) Graduate School Application
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75
  • GMAT/GRE scores* 
  • Three (3) recommendation letters
  • Interview (upon request)
  • Current resume
  • $65 application fee

* Scores are optional for 2021-2022 but necessary if you are applying for scholarship consideration.

Curriculum

Program length of 11 months and a requirement of 30 credit hours. In addition to fundamental HR courses, students with be introduced to:

  • HR-based Analytics: People analytics, organizational network analysis, reserach methods and HRIS.
  • Strategic  HR: Strategic planning and integration, change management, negotiations and conflict resolution.
  • Experiential capstone course: The opportunity to assess and employ techniques learned from coursework to organizational cases.
