Achieve Your Goals

Principals and other school leaders motivate teachers, set priorities, and create opportunities for learning that change children's lives. This rigorous, online program will prepare you for this important role and the fast-paced environment that accompanies it. As a graduate of this program, you will be able to:

  • Set organizational priorities and effectively communicate those priorities.
  • Develop people to succeed in their positions and provide them with the support they need.
  • Assess organizational performance and create the conditions for student, teacher, and school success.

Completion of this program will prepare you to exceed the current and emerging expectations for P12 school principals. Learning outcomes align with the Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (PSEL) and meet the requirements for Level I and Level II certification in Kentucky. In addition to coursework, students have the option to participate in the Next Generation Leadership Academy,
an off-line component that provides networking opportunities with other school leaders and exposure to innovative ideas. Upon admission, all students are offered tuition scholarships.
