Parking instructions will be sent to you via email. Visitors to campus should park in the South Limestone Garage, formerly known as Parking Structure #5. The street address for South Limestone Garage is 409 South Limestone, Lexington, KY 40508.

Campus visits through the Visitor Center are geared towards prospective undergraduate students and their families. Prospective graduate or professional students are encouraged to contact the particular schools with which they are interested.
The information session is 30 minutes and is followed by a 90-minute walking tour. You should allow approximately two hours for your visit.
Yes, representatives or specific information sessoins are available for most academic colleges, as well as in programs such as Honors Program, ROTC, Undergraduate Research, UK Marching Band and Education Abroad. Be aware that some colleges only offer open houses on certain dates and some also limit their availability to certain days of the week. Please make your reservations at least two weeks in advance. Please reserve your visit as early as possible, preferably two to three weeks in advance. Guests will receive a confirmation email shortly after registration yet only receive a letter in the mail if they register two weeks in advance.
Unfortunately, UK does not provide accommodations for an overnight stay on campus. If you need hotel accommodations, please review our list of Lexington-area hotel discounts to find lodging close to campus.
Tours will be given rain or shine. In case of snow or ice, please call the Visitor Center before coming to campus. Any cancelations or delays will be noted on our website and through the email provided during registration. Please dress appropriately because it is an outdoor, walking tour of campus, and unfortunately, we do not provide rain gear.
If you are unable to make your appointment, please give us a call as soon as you know that you will not be here. This allows us to make those spots available to other students. Alternatively, you may email us.
Yes. You can leave your application with one of the Visitor Center directors or take it to the admission office while on campus.
No. The earlier you start looking at colleges the more time you will have to make an informed decision. We welcome visitors of all ages.
