Education
From preschool to programs for adults over 55, UK works with communities and local and national partners to promote high-quality and diverse education for Kentuckians across the lifespan. This is especially important in rural areas like Appalachia that have unique educational environments and needs. Our strong partnerships with schools, training programs and communities provide an opportunity to combine the research and educational resources of UK with local education and workforce systems. At the same time, Kentucky’s P20 Innovation Lab, which is hosted by the University of Kentucky College of Education, is working directly with schools in Kentucky transform education for next generation learning.
