A new video produced by Brian Volland at The University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, features stream restoration efforts conducted BAE Associate Professor Carmen Agouridis.

Alpha Epsilon inducts new members

Alpha Epsilon held its spring induction ceremony on April 18. Alpha Epsilon is the honor society of ASABE.

Graduation ceremony to be held May 8 at 1 pm

BAE is pleased to invite students and their families to the Biosystems Engineering Graduation Ceremony on May 8 at 1 p.m. The ceremony will take place in the Cameron Williams Auditorium of the Plant and Soil Science (PSS) Building. BAE alum Steve Gardner, ECSI, LLC, will address the graduating seniors, and graduating senior Hanna Hafer will also speak. A light lunch will be served at 12:30. The PSS building is located next to the Charles E. Barnhart building, the department's home. Interested family members are encouraged to take a self-guided tour of the building after the ceremony.

Crofcheck receives Outstanding Teacher Award again

College of Engineering's Dean Walz has announced the faculty, staff, and student award recipients from this week's Tau Beta Pi Awards Banquet. BAE Professor Czarena Crofcheck, Ph.D., P.E., has received the award for Outstanding Teacher in Biosystems Engineering. The "outstanding" awards are voted on by students. This is the seventh time she has been honored with the award.
