Dr. Kappi says her time on the BH WELL team has helped grow her knowledge of research and different study designs. She is eager to share what she learned from the BH WELL team, such as evidence-based research through social media platforms and other communication methods, with individuals in Saudi Arabia.
BH WELL Executive Director, Dr. Zim Okoli, shares, “What I will miss most about Dr. Kappi is her initiative, drive, and incredible work ethic. When given any project, she owns it and always makes it better. She has been innovative in many of her approaches and goes out of her way to make certain that any required task is accomplished with excellence. Dr. Kappi has left an indelible mark on our team and we truly appreciate her enduring contributions.”
Upon graduation, Dr. Kappi will return to Saudi Arabia where she will assume a position as Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing at Jazan University. As a member of the Saudi ADHD Society, she will conduct research and develop programs that improve mental health outcomes for children with ADHD. She will also improve parents' understanding of ADHD symptoms severity and the importance of seeking mental healthcare early.
Congratulations Dr. Kappi!
