Sigma's 33rd International Nursing Research Congress was held July 21-25, 2022 in Edenburg, Scotland. This conference brings together nurse leaders, researchers, clinicians, and students from around the world who are focused on evidence-based research and practice. National Conference on Tobacco OR Health

The Behavioral Health Wellness Environments for Living and Learning (BH WELL) research team presented virtually at the National Conference on Tobacco OR Health (NCTOH) to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 28-30, 2022. Per the NCTOH conference website, they are one of the largest, long-standing gatherings for top United States tobacco control professionals. The conference examined the latest evidence in tobacco control and how to apply current research findings and best practices in tobacco control policy, advocacy, and programs.

Celebrating Excellence in Engagement for Research Award

Heather Robertson, Director of Executive Operations for the Behavioral Health Wellness Environments for Living and Learning (BH WELL), has been awarded the 2021-2022 Excellence in Engagement for a Research-Based Team Member award from the University of Kentucky (UK) College of Nursing (CON). This is awarded for demonstrated exceptional contributions as an outstanding team member to promote the mission of the research-based team and advancing engagement within the College of Nursing.
