Digital Pedagogy

CELT explores with faculty the ways in which technology can potentially transform our pedagogies in positive ways. Through workshops, unconferences, and consultations, we prioritize pedagogy goals over technology tools. Combining critical pedagogy with larger questions around technology use and issues related to privacy, accessibility, privilege, and power, the Digital Pedagogy initiatives seeks to empower faculty to make better decisions around technology, particularly as it relates to the impact on the students and their learning experience. We want to use the tools to suit our and our students’ needs, not have the tools use us.
