Rethinking Presentation Slides Using Assertion-Evidence Structure
Niles Gallery, Lucille Little Library
Summer break is nearly here. A perfect time to rethink your course slide decks. This workshop encourages you to consider an alternative approach to slide design known as Assertion-Evidence Structure developed by Michael Alley at Penn State University. This technique eliminates bullets, minimizes text, and incorporates relevant graphics as a means to enhance learning and retention. I will share my experience in redesigning the slides for my Biology course.
