Robert H. Kimberlin, a graduate student in the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce, has been awarded the National Security Education Program (NSEP) David L. Boren Fellowship. The fellowship awards Kimberlin up to $24,000 toward the study of the Portuguese language. He is one of only 106 graduate student award winners selected nationally. In exchange for funding, Boren Fellows commit to working in the federal government for at least one year after graduation.
