10/14/2021 - 4:00pm

Dr. Hustad's research focuses on characterizing and enhancing longitudinal speech, language and communication development and outcomes in children with cerebral palsy (CP). This work seeks to create and validate data-based longitudinal models of speech and language development in CP that can be used to predict outcomes, and guide treatment decision-making. Hustad’s work has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders since 2003. She is currently Editor in Chief of the American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology, and is a Fellow of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
