Ways to Connect

The College of Health Sciences has more than 7,000 alumni providing high-quality care in health care and educational settings across Kentucky and beyond. Wherever they serve, our alumni are among the most accomplished and respected professionals in their fields. You make us proud!

Events
The CHS Office of Advancement coordinates alumni events, both college-wide and program-specific. The main focus of our events is helping our alumni build and maintain strong connections with the College. We host networking events, which provide a chance for our alumni to connect with our students. We host fundraising events in support of the research, education, and service mission of the College. Key events include the Scholarship Golf Scramble, Dinner with Kats, and the Alumni Hall of Fame & Scholarship Dinner. If you have questions about our events, please contact Keturah Taylor, Director of Alumni & Community Relations.

Giving to the College
The CHS Office of Advancement is committed to increasing financial support, which advances the College's mission of teaching, research, and service. When you visit a physician’s office, medical laboratory, sporting event, school, hospital or clinic, chances are your life will be impacted by a health sciences professional. Health Sciences, or allied health, professionals come from many diverse disciplines. There are more than 200 allied health care fields, making up nearly 60 percent of the health care workforce. From the laboratory to the therapy room, allied health professionals play an integral role in health care. Become part of our vision for a brighter tomorrow by investing in the College of Health Sciences. An investment in CHS is an opportunity to launch the ripple that will make waves of change. It is the chance to empower all our dreams for a healthier future.

Volunteer Boards
The College of Health Sciences Dean’s Advisory Board serves as an external advisory body to the Dean of the College of Health Sciences. The CHS Philanthropy Board is designed to take an active role in the planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising/development programs for CHS, working to secure private sector funding for CHS professorship's, chair's, programs, capital needs, scholarships and other initiatives.
