Cannon Hanebuth is a junior Human Health Sciences major on the Physical Therapy track. Cannon is from the northern suburbs of Chicago, IL and is so happy that she found my home here at the University of Kentucky. She is grateful to be a Student Ambassador for the College of Health Sciences and help prospective students find their "home away from home".
The College of Health Sciences has provided her with a unique opportunity to get involved not only in her own college, but also in her campus and community. She serves as secretary for the Pre-Physical Therapy Student Association, as well as a member of the executive board for Red Shoe Crew, a club that benefits the Ronald McDonald House. She am vigorously invested in her research, "Determining Success for PA & PT Students", for the College of Health Sciences. Cannon has been able to build inter-professional skills to further her success and continue on her journey towards becoming a Physical Therapist.
She looks forward to an awesome year serving as an Ambassador for the College of Health Sciences, because the College has done so much for her. Cannon cannot wait to educate all the prospective students on her own experience and everything the college has to offer, as well as hearing about their own dream towards becoming a professional in the healthcare field. If you have any questions, feel free to email her! Go Cats!
