Communication Sciences and Disorders Academic Clinic

The Communication Sciences and Disorders Academic Clinic is an integral part of the Communication Sciences and Disorders graduate degree program at The University of Kentucky.  The UK CSD Academic Clinic provides graduate students clinical experience with children and adolescents who have a wide variety of communication disorders, as well as adults for accent modification.  Supervision is provided by speech language pathologists and audiologists certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing-Association (ASHA) and licensed by the state of Kentucky.

Clinical Goals

To provide high quality diagnostic and treatment services to children and adolescents who have communication differences and disorders of speech, language, and hearing, as well as adults for accent modification.
To provide a practicum experience for students at the University of Kentucky in the Division of Communication Sciences and Disorders, so that students can develop competence in the diagnosis and treatment of individuals who have speech, language, and hearing disorders.

The CSD Academic Clinic is a graduate student-run outpatient clinic. Speech services are available for children and adolescents, in the areas of:
