My name is Casey Carter, I’m a Sophomore Human Health Sciences major on the Pre-PA/Pre-Med track. I am a proud native of Columbia, South Carolina. I absolutely love being a student at the University of Kentucky. I knew during my first visit to campus that the Bluegrass State would be my home for next four years. My involvement at the University of Kentucky includes Student Government Leadership Development Program (LDP), Air Force ROTC, the American Medical Student Association (AMSA), and LLC programs (STEMCats and IHRC). During the 2019-2020 academic year I had the privilege to serve as an Office Assistant within the College of Health Sciences (CHS) Office of Student Affairs. These opportunities allowed me to collaborate and embrace both academic and student engagement at the University of Kentucky. In the community of Lexington, I enjoy serving as a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House Charities. I look forward to continuing community service within the city of Lexington. As an Ambassador in the College of Health Sciences, I aspire to promote the mission of academic programs, encourage peer collaboration, and provide a platform to highlight the diverse opportunities within the college.
Fun Fact: I love writing aesthetically pleasing study notes, attending sporting events, and listening to music/podcast.
