My name is Casey Carter, I am a Junior Human Health Sciences major on a Pre-Med track. I am a proud native of Columbia, South Carolina. I absolutely love being a student at the University of Kentucky. I knew during my first visit to campus that the Bluegrass State would be my home for the next four years. My involvement at the University of Kentucky includes Student Government Leadership Development Program (LDP), Air Force ROTC, the American Medical Student Association (AMSA), Hues in Medicine, Silver Wings, and LLC programs (STEMCats and IHRC). I also serve as an Office Assistant within the College of Health Sciences (CHS) Office of Student Affairs and as an Undergraduate Research student in the Biomotion Lab. These opportunities have allowed me to collaborate and embrace both academic and student engagement at the University of Kentucky. In the community of Lexington, I enjoy serving as a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass. I look forward to continuing community service within the city of Lexington. As an Ambassador in the College of Health Sciences, I aspire to promote the mission of academic programs, encourage peer collaboration, and provide a platform to highlight the diverse opportunities within the college.
Fun Fact: I love writing aesthetically pleasing study notes, attending sporting events, and listening to music/podcasts.
