Dr. Dee Dlugonski joined the Sports Medicine Research Institute at the University of Kentucky in 2019 and primarily works with the Active Women’s Health Initiative. She earned her PhD in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois in 2013 and her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Penn State University in 2005. The goal of her scholarly work is to improve the health, well-being, and quality of life of families through physical activity, with a particular focus on maternal and child health.
