Out of all the speeches the new students heard during their last week before classes, maybe it was Alumni Relations Director Caroline Arthur’s message that brought out the most feelings.

“As soon as you start your journey,” she told them, “you’re a member of Big Blue Nation. Take advantage of every opportunity.”

They were selected from a class of nearly 350 applicants.

Now, each student is one of 51.

The Office of the Dean is fortunate to have an excellent team, which is united in the college’s mission and excited about its future. Our team helps CHS make connections with our partners in the community to further the mission. They also lead the process of creating a vision and strategy for continual growth of the college. Each of these units offers unique services and support for the college.
