Mr. Joyner is the accreditation specialist for the College of Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies program.  He provides data, statistics, and analysis for the program’s ongoing self-study efforts and accreditation. Originally from Alabama, Mr. Joyner attended Auburn University and received a Bachelor’s of Arts in English. He completed a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas.  His varied work experience includes children’s mental health services planning in South Carolina, health planning and program evaluation for the City of Houston Department of Health and Human Services. He is co-author of a book on a population health approach to diabetes prevention.
