Hello! I am Lauren Johnson, a junior here in the College of Health Sciences. Within the college, I am studying Clinical Leadership and Management (CLM). I am a native Kentuckian, born and raised in Owensboro, so I had always known that I was going to be a Kentucky Wildcat. The University of Kentucky, especially the College of Health Sciences, has been an amazing place to call home these past few years. I am involved in various on and off campus activities such as volunteering with communities and organizations around Lexington and the University.
On campus, I have spent my last year as a Peer Mentor for CHS first year students, additionally I was involved with College Mentors for Kids and was a member and president of the Pre-Physical Therapy Student Association while I also worked off campus as a Physical Therapy Technician. With my recent major changes from Human Health Sciences (HHS) Pre-Physical Therapy to CLM, I have recently become a member of Healthcare Administration Student Association (HASA) and look to get more involved with additional clubs and orgs that fit my interests as I go on.
Off campus, I enjoy outdoor activities and adventures, I love to go hiking and kayaking throughout Kentucky to explore what our beautiful state has to offer! I also love exploring Lexington by finding local restaurants, shops, and little spots to enjoy with friends.
As an ambassador, I cannot wait to meet and share my experiences with prospective students! Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
