Paige Clawson awarded a $1,000 SEATA Grant

Paige Clawson, a graduate student in Athletic Training, received a $1,000 grant award from the Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association (SEATA) for her project entitled, “The Role of Hip Strength Deficits on Dynamic Function in Those with Chronic Ankle Instability.” The purpose of this study is to evaluate the expected deficiencies and anticipated associations of isometric hip strength and self-reported function and disability in individuals with chronic ankle instability. She will present her results at the 2020 SEATA Clinical Symposium and Members Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Clawson is mentored by Dr. Phillip Gribble. Join us in congratulating her on this accomplishment!
