The UK PA academic residency conducts a two-wave interview process.

The first wave is open February 1 to April 30th.

Zoom interviews will be completed by the middle of June.


If not all residency tracks are filled, we will open for additional applicants for 2 weeks, from June 14th to June 28th.

Deadline to apply for 2nd wave: June 28th, 2023

Zoom interviews for the second wave will be conducted in July.


If interested in applying prior to the window opening, please begin obtaining these items for your complete application in addition to completing the form below:

  • Letters of recommendation from your program director, a faculty from your PA program and a clinician
  • Personal statement
  • CV/resume
  • Official transcripts.

Applicants may only apply for up to 3 residency tracks

Applicants must have their program completion and PANCE results by July 31st, 2023 to meet credentialing deadlines

UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIORAL STANDARDS

One of the requirements for completing this application is the acknowledgement that that you have read, understand and can adhere to the Technical and Behavior Standards required for student matriculating into the Physician Assistant Post-Graduate Program.
