Ways To Get Involved

There are many ways you can get involved with the University of Kentucky College of Health Sciences Physician Assistant Studies Program! We welcome you to explore the options below and contact us if you're interested. 

Here is how you can help:

  • Opportunities to Guest Lecture
  • Serve as a Preceptor to UK PAS students on Clinical Rotations
  • Interview PAS Program Applicants
  • Help with Alumni and Student Activities - tailgating, etc.
  • Help teach hands-on labs
  • Donations/Financial Assistance - Alumni contributions will be pooled to provide need-based scholarships to PAS students (for example: help buy equipment, provide tuition assistance, assist with clinical year expenses, etc.)

Guest Lecturing:

A guest lecturer is an individual who possesses advanced knowledge of a particular subject area, and who speaks about that subject area to a group or organization.

If you would like to be a guest lecturer in the UK PA Program please email Donna Jones and provide the following information:

  • Name
  • Graduating Class
  • A brief bio
  • Title/topic about which you would like to lecture
