We are delighted that you have chosen to explore your health professions education opportunities through the UK College of Health Sciences (CHS). We have a wide array of customized visit options to help make the most of your time on campus. Click through each option to identify which visit is best for you. We look forward to meeting you!


First-Time Freshman Visit Options:

Standard College of Health Sciences Visit:  Select Fridays 9:15am - 11:45am

Target Audience: High school students or first-time incoming freshmen interested in undergraduate programs.

During the visit, prospective freshmen will have the opportunity to learn about our undergraduate programs from faculty members representing:

  • Clinical Leadership & Management
  • Communication Sciences & Disorders
  • Human Health Sciences
  • Medical Laboratory Sciences

In addition, you will hear personal experiences from current College of Health Sciences’ students, tour our facility, and hear from a Interprofessional Healthcare Residential College (IHRC) representative.

Registration is required and seating is limited.

Prospective students who cannot attend one the previously described visit are welcome to schedule an information session (one-hour) with a College of Health Sciences representative. Please note this option does not include a tour or info session with faculty and students.

Athletic Training Showcase:  Nov. 15th, 2019 (9am -1:30pm)

Target Audience: High school students or first-time incoming freshmen interested in Athletic Training.

The showcase includes an overview of the College of Health Sciences Athletic Training Programs (including the 3+2 accelerated BS and MS Program); tours of the Athletic Training lab space, Nutter Training Facility, and Sports Medicine Research Institute; a Meet and Greet with AT faculty; and individual advising sessions. Registration is required and seating is limited.

Current College Students and College Graduates Visit Options:

Target Audience: Current college students and college graduates from any university interested in Athletic Training.

This showcase includes an overview of the College of Health Sciences Master of Science in Athletic Training program; tours of the Athletic Training lab space, Nutter Training Facility, and Sports Medicine Research Institute; a Meet and Greet with AT faculty; and individual advising sessions. Registration is required and seating is limited.

Physical Therapy Informational Sessions:

Target Audience: Current college students and college graduates from any university interested in the UK Physical Therapy program. 

Informational sessions will provide an overview of the profession, program curriculum and history, as well as the admissions requirements.
