I am Samantha Frederick a senior in the College of Health Sciences majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) with a minor in Business and a research certificate. After graduation I hope to pursue a graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP). I have had the opportunity to meet amazing friends and professors in the college. I am originally from Lewes, DE but love being in Kentucky and being apart of the UK family, GO CATS! I am extremely involved on and off campus with clubs, volunteering and working in the community. In addition to being a student ambassador for the college I am the president of NSCS, event coordinator for ASLDCC, secretary for NSSHLA, volunteer coordinator for Red Shoe Crew, a research assistant, a mentor in Best Buddies, work out in the community, apart of the diversity committee for CSD, babysitting in the community and the director of speech and hearing service for the student service organization. I am beyond grateful for this opportunity to represent the college and meet new people. I am a hard working individual that takes pride in everything I complete and that I am apart of and I can’t wait for the awesome opportunities that arise with being an ambassador. I have found my best friends and the best professors in the college of health sciences. I am always here to help. If you see me on campus feel free to always say hi!
