Hello! My name is Tate Sheppard and I am a senior in the College of Health Sciences majoring in Clinical Leadership and Management (CLM) with a minor in Business. After graduation, I hope to pursue a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA). I was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH and have loved every minute of the past four years at the University of Kentucky. In addition to my role as a Student Ambassador for the College of Health Sciences, I am also involved in other on-campus organizations. These include serving as a Peer Mentor for CHS, Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, Healthcare Administration Student Association (HASA), and working at The Study as a Math 109 Peer Tutor.
This is my second year serving as a Student Ambassador for the College of Health Sciences, and I absolutely love having this role. Being an ambassador has allowed me to create friendships with students in other majors in CHS, as well as form relationships with the faculty. Having this opportunity has made such a large college feel small and welcoming. I have also enjoyed getting to meet and speak to prospective CHS students and their families at various recruitment events held throughout the year. My college experience would not have been the same or this memorable, if I had not applied for this position. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out! Go Cats!
