In order to "save" time, I am trying to build a redirect from a drupal page to a wordpress page. I have used the line of code from elsewhere and made the delay something in the magnitude of .00001 and still the drupal page is visible. I had started with a zero delay and the count of three could be made before the wordpress page appeared.

My "customer" is unhappy 8-{

Could the issue be explained by simply pointing out that the delay is a matter of different servers?

Are you using a meta-refresh redirect? The method is considered deprecated by W3C

If you have server access, the easiest redirect is a line in the .htaccess file. Some examples are here:
