What is it?
Read&Write Gold is a discreet, universally designed, and customizable toolbar that integrates reading, writing, studying, and research support tools with common applications (i.e. Word, Google Docs, IE, Chrome, Firefox, Adobe Reader) to foster confidence, independence, and success in academia.
Features include: word prediction, text-to-speech, speech-to-text, text to mp3 conversion (also mp4, aac, aiff, or m4a), translation, screen shot reader, optical character recognition, voice notation, exporting of highlighted text, concept mapping, a phonetic spell checker, picture dictionary, talking calculator, screen masking, word banks, and more.

Who can use it?
Read&Write Gold is accessible to all individuals in the University of Kentucky community. Instructors, staff, and students use their link blue username and password to log into Software Downloads in the Link Blue menu Toolbar.
Where is it?
Read&Write Gold is a software application and can be downloaded directly from the UK Download site. Select Macintosh or PC version.
Read&Write Gold is fully site-licensed by UK, so usage is free for all members of the UK community.
