This symposium will focus on the health and safety problems associated with the four most hazardous industry sectors—in terms of occupational fatality rates— Agriculture and Forestry; Mining; Transportation; and Construction. The selected speakers will highlight the problems that continue to plague these industries and discuss current intervention efforts. The moderators of the sessions will then lead a discussion of concepts of additional work that needs to be done to make these sectors safer for all workers employed in them
